Forever and always we'll love Taylor Lautner's reaction to Speak Now (Taylor's Version).
As Taylor Swift prepares to re-release her 2010 album—with six new tracks out of our wildest dreams—her ex knows there's no bad blood between them.
But the Twilight alum—who is the subject of the heartfelt breakup song "Back to December"—can't say the same for Swift's long list of ex-lovers.
"I think it's a great album," Lautner, who dated Swift for a few months in 2009, told TODAY.com May 16. "Yeah, I feel safe. Praying for John."
And that would be John Mayer, who may have done something bad to inspire "Dear John" off Speak Now.
The singers were linked in 2009 and 2010 after collaborating on Mayer's song "Half of My Heart." At the time, Swift told Elle she was "really excited" to team up with Grammy winner, and had "been such a big fan of John for such a long time."
She later released "Dear John," in which she sings, "Don't you think nineteen is too young / To be played by your dark twisted games, when I loved you so?"
Earlier this month, Swift announced she would be releasing a re-recorded version of Speak Now while performing in Nashville for The Eras Tour May 5.
"I think rather than me speaking about it," Swift told the crowd. "I thought I would show you," before the cover art for the upcoming Speak Now (Taylor's Version) flashed across screens at the Nissan Stadium, sending fans into a frenzy.
She shared the new album will be released on July 7 and contain 22 tracks, including six previously unreleased songs from the vault, which could potentially include more references to her relationships with Lautner and Mayer.
"I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20," a message shared to Swift's Instagram read May 5. "The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness. I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing … and living to speak about it."
Accompanying the social media message was a note signed by the 33-year-old, reading: "I always looked at this album as my album, and the lump in my throat expands to a quivering voice as I say this. Thanks to you, dear reader, it finally will be."
And it's safe to say Lautner's now-wife, also named Taylor Lautner, will be enchanted to stream the new album. She revealed earlier this year that she's an "OG" Swiftie, confessing on The Viall Files podcast in February, "Speak Now was one of the best albums of all time. Just the lyrics are insane."
