In the video shared to social media Aug. 11, the now rugged-looking royal was seen sporting a blue polo shirt featuring the Olympics logo. ICYMI, the British Olympic team collectively earned 65 medals, including 14 gold, at the Games, ranking in third place behind China and the United States, whose athletes pushed the country to No. 1 with 126 medals, including 40 gold.
And though neither William nor Kate attended the games, two of William’s aunts, Princess Anne and Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, were spotted in France for the historic occasion.
Amid her diagnosis, Kate has significantly dialed back her public appearances, notably attending the Trooping the Colour parade in June and the Wimbledon championships in July.
William’s last public appearance took place in mid-July alongside his eldest son Prince George at the UEFA EURO 2024 soccer final where Spain beat England.
